Story

FlowForAll is a charity that aims to advocate and eradicate period poverty in Malawi. I founded this Charity only a few months ago in July and Currys working on getting it registered as well. We have a few projects we are aiming at, namely;

  1. The Mtendere Project, this is a mental health project for women and girls, to not only teach them about mental health but to learn about some of the things they have gone through that have affected their mental health. For instance abuse either by family members or even from husbands, boyfriends etc.
  2. Jingle Bell Babies, this project will be carried out during the festive season, where we will go to public hospitals and visit women who have just given birth and are also coming from undeveloped communities, where we will gift them nappies, washing soap, bathing soap, wrappers (zitenje) and other important items that can help them and their babies get through.
  3. Tiny Hearts Full Bellies, this project will be aimed at Childhood nutrition where we go to underdeveloped communities and cook for children. This project however we hope to implement next year.
  4. SheBelieves, the SheBelieves project is there to empower women and girls through encouraging them to return to school for those young girls who may have fallen pregnant, as well as introducing business ideas to women so that they’re able to become financially/economically independent.
  5. Finally Flow Friends, this is the period project where we can donate reusable pads to these women and girls, and teach them about female health and reproductive health as well.
