What if two Malawian creatives risked everything to start a magazine - And we documented it all?
Well, I'm producing a web series, and I need your help.
My name is Tapiwa. I'm a writer, a law graduate, and someone who has spent a long time waiting for permission.
But today I stop waiting.
I'm making a 5- episode web series called Kolcha. It is about a pair of young adults who secretly start a magazine while working at a dying newspaper. It's a comedy. It's a drama. It's about being 25, feeling stuck, and deciding to TRY anyway.
Why am I asking for help:
I applied for a grant, and I haven't heard back, so I am taking the funding into my own hands because I can't keep waiting.
So, I'm crowdfunding $2,000 (MK3.4 million) to make it happen.
A donation will get a special thank you in the show credits and merch after the launch.
Please donate if this resonates with you. If you have ever felt trapped. If you've ever felt stuck. If you have ever wanted to start something real. Please share this with one person who might believe in it too.
With Love,
Tapiwa.
